Rural Entrepreneurship Welfare Foundation
Welcome to the heart of entrepreneurship and sustainability - the Rural Entrepreneurship Welfare Foundation (REWF) page. Nestled in the vibrant region of Dahanu-Gholvad along Northern Maharashtra’s pristine coastline, our foundation is deeply rooted in the rich soil of culture, history, and traditions.
Our Roots: Dahanu-Gholvad, known for its sprawling Chikoo orchards and breathtaking Casuarina-lined beaches, is not just a destination but a cultural treasure. Home to the renowned Warli tribe and their globally acclaimed paintings, this region pulsates with the rhythm of traditions and a deep connection to the land.
Chikoo - A Symbol of Prosperity: At the heart of our foundation lies the Chikoo, a symbol of prosperity and economic vitality for Dahanu-Gholvad. The Chikoo Festival, a tradition since 2013, embodies our commitment to boosting entrepreneurship in the region. Awarded the prestigious “Geographical Indication” for our quality Chikoo production, we take pride in contributing to the economic growth of our community.
