Dahanu Bordi

Aswali dam is one of the major tourist destinations in the area. One can easily get an Auto from bordi to visit the dam. The route to the dam is un constructed and a bit rocky. A few minutes walk from parking and you are left astonished by the lovely view of the mountains and water. Water flow is moderate and the place turns out to be a really good picnic destination in and around Bordi. Be prepared to carry your food and water and you do not get any thing nearby.

You will be blessed , just visit this great Mata Ji Temple and if possible try to go to the mountains there's also a Main Mata Ji temple at the top of the mountain.This temple goddess is Laxmidevi and Kuldevi of Baniya community. Barot Caves are the Zoroastrian or Parsi Cave Temples. These caves are comprised
of water cisterns, seven in a row to form the face of the cliff. These cisterns
are water tanks rectangular in shape and only one of them hold water till
beginning of February or end of January and filled up during the Monsoon season.
The largest of the tanks remain filled up for entire year, which protects their
sacred icon known as the e Iran Shah Fire. These caves are of religious and
historical importance to the Parsis.
The Parsi ancestors took refuge in these caves from the Muslim invaders for a
period of 13 years. It is believed during this time they took the fire, “Iran
Shah Flame” with them inside the caves which is believed to burn till present
date.
Talasari
The Talasari taluka is home to the Warli, Dhodia, Konka, and Katkari tribes. The Warli community is the most populous in this area. The Dhodia Warli Konkani language is used in Talasari. Konkani and Dhodia are the primary languages spoken by the Upalat, Davar, Warli, and Zai groups. In the taluk, warli art is widely accepted and popular. Agriculture is the taluka's primary industry. The primary crop is rice, which is reliant on rainfall. There are government offices, nonprofits, schools, a bank post, and other establishments in Talasari taluka.
